PURPOSE:To provide the machining head of a laser beam welding equipment which can inject assist gas well so that the assist gas is not ionized. CONSTITUTION:An assist gas nozzle which injects assist gas in a direction crossing with the optical axis of the laser beam passing a laser beam path part 9 to irradiate a welded part with laser beam is constituted of a Laval nozzle 15. The assist gas infected from the Laval nozzle 15 is infected to the welded part at a high flow velocity like subsonic-supersonic velocity. |
