<p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure the gap between paper sheets and facilitate the detection of load by idle-revolving a paper feeding roller by the paper sheet when the paper sheet is transported by the paper feeding roller and completing the contact between the paper feeding roller and the paper sheet before the completion of the idle revolution. CONSTITUTION:When a driving gear 5 starts revolution, the driving projection part 6 of the gear 5 comes in press-contact with the pin 4 on a paper feeding roller shaft 2 and revolves a paper feeding roller 1. A paper sheet 20 is sent to a paper feeding roller 13 at the peripheral speed V1 of the paper feeding roller 1. In the state where the paper sheet 20 is in contact with the paper feeding roller 1 and the paper feeding roller 13, the paper sheet 20 is transported at the peripheral speed V2 of the paper feeding roller 13 which is larger than the peripheral speed V1, and the pin 4 is gradually separated from the driving projection part 6 of the driving gear 5. In order to suppress the idle revolution of the pin during the time when one paper sheet 20 is sent by the paper feeding roller 13, the paper feeding roller diameter D, distance B between both the rollers, and the peripheral speed ratio between the paper feeding roller 1 and the paper feeding roller 13 are set. Accordingly, the gap which can be detected by a load detecting sensor 15 can be set between the paper sheets by the simple mechanism.</p> |
