PURPOSE:To issue alarm at its early stage of an abnormality in the event of any failed state in accordance with the change in the condition of a driver, for example when a car uses a driving-asleep alarming device. CONSTITUTION:In a driving-asleep alarming system 20, a signal from a steering sensor 21 is fed to a driving-asleep sensing logic part 22, and if judgement based upon the steering pattern is such that the car is in driving asleep, an alarm device 23 is actuated. A judging part 16 for the degree of correspondence to the operation judges the corresponding operating situation by a driving operation sensing part according to the change in the inter-car distance determined by a surrounding environment measuring device 10 and a condition change sensing part 12. The logic part 22 changes its sensing logic in compliance with the judging result whether normal or failed given from the judging part 16, reduces the sensitivity in sensing the driving asleep when the driver' condition is normal so that useless malalarming is precluded, and raises the sensitivity when the driver is out of normal condition so that alarming about driving sleep is issued at its early stages. |
