<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for storing vegetables and fruits for a long period, capable of packaging them into a package, loading it onto a pallet, storing vegetables and fruits accommodated in a container, shipping and delivering them to a customer in the form of a unit load 'by a pallet unit. CONSTITUTION:Vegetables and fruits 2 are accommodated in a corrugated box 1 and an ethylene absorbent 3 and, as necessary, other materials are put therein. The plural corrugated boxes are loaded on a transport pallet 4 and the whole assembly of the corrugated boxes loaded on the pallet is covered with a plastic film 5. Thereby, the whole assembly of the corrugated boxes is united, monolithically fixed to the pallet and subsequently stored at low temperatures within a range of -2 to +8 deg.C.</p> |
