PURPOSE:To rationalize the constitution of mechanism by forming a face-up tray in a face-up discharge part and a paper pressing unit in a face-down discharge part, as common member. CONSTITUTION:In the face-down discharge mode, a tray - paper pressing member 24 is allowed to act as paper pressing unit by being turning-positioned on a face-down tray 22 as a face dawn discharge part on a printer upper cover 2, around a hinge shaft 30. In the face-up discharge mode, the member 24 is turned until the basic part 24g of the base member 24 is received by the lower part of the printer left side surface, in the counterclockwise direction around the hinge shaft 30. Accordingly, the member 24 is reversed and is put into an attitude state bulging outward at the lower position of the second paper discharge port 25 of the left side surface of the printer, and position-changed as the face-up tray for the second discharge port 25. Accordingly, the reasonable constitution of the mechanism can be obtained. |
