PURPOSE:To provide a tape printing device capable of printing the graduation lines of a scale and the graduation figures accompanying the graduation lines before and behind the intermediate value set to a printing tape. CONSTITUTION:A power supply is closed by a power supply key and initial setting (S10) is executed and, when the key related to the formation of a document and a document printing key are operated, the formed document data is stored in a text memory. Printing processing is executed on the basis of the stored document data (S12-S16). When a scale printing key is operated (S17; Yes), graduation data setting processing inputting and setting a plurality of the set data related to a scale such as the start value, intermediate value and completion value of the scale is executed (S18). Thereafter, scale printing processing is executed on the basis of the set data (S19) and the scale decreasing or increasing up to the intermediate value from the start value wherein graduation figures are set and increasing or decreasing from the intermediate value to the completion value is printed on a printing tape. |
