The object is to create a method and a circuit arrangement for coding marking means in a contactless manner and to ensure a wide variety of applications in technical processes. The object is achieved by designing n switchable passive resonators (1) with the respectively assigned detection frequencies and burn-out frequencies as an array and by coding the n resonators in a specifically contactless manner by switching on electromagnetic fields with j of n frequencies.
