<p>A rotating liquid ring compressor/turbine (RLRC/T) including a tubular jacket having an axis and fluid inlet and outlet ports and a rotor having a shaft and radially extending vanes mounted thereon. The rotor is eccentrically disposed within the axis of the tubular jacket and the jacket is rotationally coupled with respect to the rotor, whereby it is free to rotate about its axis, so that friction between the liquid ring and the inside surface of the jacket is decreased. <IMAGE></p> |
