In order to sinter so-called "ferroxdure" ferrite components moulded beforehand into the shape of sectors of a cylinder of revolution, a support having a suitable shape is used. Throughout the duration of the heating phase, the ferrite component (5) is placed, with its concavity facing upwards, on a concave cylindrical surface (4) and a bar (6) is laid on the said ferrite component.
