Radiator fastening for vehicle - has two sleeves with interacting teeth clamped together by spring clip

The radiator fastening has a holder (4) surrounded by a plastics sleeve (7). A spring clip (5) lies against the side of the sleeve directed away from the counter holder (2). A damping sleeve (6) and the plastics sleeve each have fine teeth (17,18) on the sides directed towards each other which come into engagement as a result of tension exerted by the spring clip. The plastics sleeve has two parallel projections (8,9) connected by a film hinge (11) which act as a stop for the clip. USE/ADVANTAGE - Radiator fastening in vehicle allows max. tolerances between the radiator and the vehicle and avoids the danger of corrosion or damage to the damping sleeve.
