The spray head (36) is seated rotatable on the hollow cylindrical shaft (26). A flow section of this shaft interacts with a flow section of the spray head so that when the spray head is in different rotary positions a different sized flow section is produced. The hollow cylindrical shaft can have a window interacting with an inlet opening in the spray outlet channel wherein the window and inlet opening have different expansion in the circumferential direction. The window opens towards the end of the shaft adjoining a stop face of the inner chamber of the spray head. The inner side of the window remote from the end of the shaft can be stepped or formed like a ramp. A pin of the spray head engages sealingly in the inner space of the hollow cylindrical shaft.
