The strut contains a stiffener with a threaded bore (21). The stiffener (20) engages flat with its flanges on two sides (11,12) of the strut (10). The bore is formed as a passage (22) whose free end is located on the bore (13) of the strut. The free end of the passage is formed as a ring surface (23). A collar, formed by a cylindrical shoulder on the free end, projects into the bore (13) in the strut. The stiffener consists of a bevelled part. USE/ADVANTAGE - For support of auxiliary appliances. It is of one piece, simple to manufacture and improves distribution of forces on strut.
