PURPOSE:To realize color stereoscopic display with superior resolution by constituting a stereoscopic image display device without having spectacles with a lenticular system. CONSTITUTION:The title device consists of a scan direction converter 11 to convert the direction of the scanning line of an image, a division circuit 3 to divide a signal to parallel signals, and a line sequential scanning circuit 4, and the direction of a display panel 5 is constituted so that the scanning line can form upper and lower stripes sequentially. And a lenticular lens 12 is aligned to a line sequential scanning direction by converting the line sequential scanning direction by 90 deg., and the stereoscopic display of lenticular lens system can be realized by utilizing the shift operation of interlace. In such a way, it is possible to obtain the stereoscopic image display device without having the spectacles with low reduction of resolution even in making the image into color. |
