The first part of the module has a channel through which the cable passes and into which the teeth are urged when the first part of the module is screwed into engagement with a second part of the module. The second part of the module has an enclosure formed from metal contact elements that surround the insulation-piercing teeth and provide cam surfaces for urging the teeth through the cable insulation and into engagement with the conductors.</p> |
