Beneath the mattress (8) and the lath grid (9) is fitted a low speed quiet-running electric motor, which moves the drive wheel (3). Via a drive belt (6) the main wheel (4) is driven. This main wheel is located on a ball bearing (12), fixed to the bed frame. Through the slow rotation of the main wheel an imbalance is produced by the eccentric wt. (5) amounting to approximately 700 grams, which in turn moves the bed in a slightly elliptical swinging movement. USE/ADVANTAGE - To eradicate sleep disturbances by imparting a slight swinging movement to the bed.
