The cross-section of the carton (1) has two opposite convex sections extending over 180 deg. and concave connecting sections. These connecting sections comprise concave and convex curved parts. The lid is likewise deep drawn and welded to the carton body. The carton can have a lid flap which can be welded on afterwards for filling. The carton can have more than one chamber. For easier packing several rows of cartons can fit together offset in the longitudinal direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - The cartons for dairy products can be made in practically any size and cartons of different size can be fitted in the same crate.
