The appts. to test the longitudinal abrasion of fibre materials has a rotating hollow abrasion shaft with evenly-distributed openings with an inner medium to deliver and take-up a fluid, for a consistent dosed moisturising of the fibre material under test. USE/ADVANTAGE - The appts. is for testing the abrasion of fibre materials, especially regenerated fibres. The system determines the abrasion behaviour of the material while wet, for a more accurate assessment.
