<p>An AC power supply system has two uninterruptible power supplies (51,59), connected in parallel with each other, for supplying stable power to a load. There are provided means (53,56,58,60,61) which, when a fault occurs in either of said uninterruptible power supplies, stop operation of that uninterruptible power supply (51) which failed, and temporarily disconnect the failed uninterruptible power supply (51) from the load (8). Means (29,57) determine whether the fault is caused by an internal factor of said uninterruptible power supply (51) or by an external factor thereof. Also are provided means (27,28) which, when it is determined that the fault is caused by the external factor, restart the uninterruptible power supply which failed so as to perform parallel operation thereof with said uninterruptible power supply in which no fault was detected. <IMAGE></p> |
