The trocar has a guide tube (6) with an interface (9), at which it is separated from a lower guide tube portion. The latter is divided into two guide tube half-shells (10a,b). The latter are linked to the guide tube top part by two prestressed, spring steel strips (11a,b). Pref., the guide tube half-shells have a taper of 6 deg. to result in an outer dia. of 11 mm and an inner dia. of 10 mm. Thus, a cylindrical guide (8) is formed for passage of a trocar of 10 mm in dia., or of surgical instruments. USE/ADVANTAGE - For endoscopic surgery in intestine and chest cavity, suitable even for removing gall bladder with large stones without danger of perforation or contamination of the region.
