The regeneration of a binary signal supplied by a transmission link, particularly by a recording device, is generally effected in three stages: 1. signal equaliser 2. amplitude decision circuit 3. time decision circuit. The object of the invention is to improve a regeneration circuit, in which a full-response equalisation is carried out by using an integrator, in such a manner that it is suitable for low-redundancy transmission codes. In the regenerator, an output signal from a decision circuit is fed back via a high-pass filter to the signal path located in front of the integrator.
