Contact and sealing disk (1) is made of an elastic dielectric material and is provided on both sides with an inner metallised region, surrounding the waveguide opening. These inner metallised regions (2) are electrically connected to each other. The disk has a metallised region (3) on both outer sides, these metallised regions being electrically connected to each other. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in the junction between two waveguides to be joined to each other.
