Hydraulic damper or strut for vehicle suspension - uses spring snap coupling to secure pin linkage to vehicle body

The damper or strut is esp. for a vehicle suspension. The pin linkage (5) is connected to the vehicle body or to the wheel mass via an automatically engaging snap coupling (15). The pin linkage has at least one spring element (6) capable of being snapped into an offset rigid part of the vehicle body or wheel mass. The offset angle (alpha) of the spring is smaller than the offset angle (Beta) of the rigid part. USE/ADVANTAGE - Suspension damper or strut may be releasably attached to the vehicle without additional fixing screws.
