The calculator adds and subtract negative numbers. A tetrade circuit is included which operates so that numbers running through the left or running through the right can be processed as subtracted numbers when left side or right side-complement processing occurs. The main circuit consists of the tetrade circuit for addition and subtraction and a gate circuit system. Numbers are transferred from the memory row to the shift register. The calculator also multiplies and divides, and includes four 32-way gate circuits. The memory row consists of a flip-flop.
