<p>The invention concerns a linear induction motor comprising a primary part (8) consisting of a magnetic circuit (21,22) and a primary winding (23) fitted to it to induce a magnetic field, and a secondary part (9). According to the invention, the secondary part consists of a supporting structure (24) which is flexible at least in its lengthwise direction and strong against tension. The conductors (25) forming the secondary winding are attached to the supporting structure (24).
