The casing (10) is used to house a roller or group of rollers for a roller blind. It has flat end plates (12) and there are inner lining plates (36) at the flat ends, held in place by a pair of screws (42) and with a number of bores (56) acting as bearings for the roller shafts or accommodating bearing elements. The casing has an arched removable inspection casing or top portion (18) and a flat floor portion, and a guide member (46) is fastened to it, in line with the floor portion.
