Gas-tight closure for respirator container - is swivelable about joint(s) on one container shell for clamping band release

The respirator has a moisture sensitive filter agent, and the container (1) consists of two shells (2,3), abutting at their front faces (4,6). The shells have outwards protruding, peripheral edges (5,7). The latter are surrounded by a clamping band (8-11,13,14) with a closure holding the band ends (10,11) together. The shells are coupled by a sealing element in front side grooves. The closure is swivelable about at least one joint (17,19) on one shell (2). The closure consists of a holder (12) for the band ends, and a transfer member (18), both taking part in the closure swivel. USE/ADVANTAGE - For respirators with moisture sensitive filter agents, with increased security and easy opening.
