The main part of the upper edge (22) of the filter unit (18) lies in a first plane (23) whilst the part (26) of the cover (28) interacting with this main part lies in a second plane (30). When the filter unit is inserted these planes run parallel close above each other. Both these planes are inclined by an angle (a) relative to the plane of movement (24). The filter unit can be moved along the plane of movement by swivelling about a swivel axis (32) set in the housing and running at right angles to same. The housing can have a locking unit for the filter unit which when the filter is inserted locks with same through slits. ADVANTAGE - The upper edge of the filter unit when inserted is always sealed against the cover or actual brewing head closing the opening to prevent loss of aroma and heat. The filter unit can be easily removed.
