PURPOSE:To convert plural input images whose resolutions are different into images with high resolution with a simple circuit. CONSTITUTION:This processor is provided with line memories 22-24, a first selecting circuit 21 for selecting whether to successively shift and store input image data in the respective line memories or to store the image data of the respective line memories in the same line memory, a resolution conversion table 28a for converting standard resolution images to fine images, the resolution conversion table 28b for converting high resolution images to the fine images, a resolution conversion part 28 for fetching 9 picture elements of 3X3 from the respective line memories and respective flip-flops and converting the resolution by using one of the conversion tables corresponding to the resolution of the input images for the picture element under consideration, a second selecting circuit 32 for selectively outputting output from the conversion part by respective lines and a control part 33 for controlling the respective selecting circuits corresponding to the resolution of the input image data. |
