PURPOSE:To provide a fuel cell with a collector of simple structure without the need of an interconnector used conventionally and with a power generation tube. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical fuel cell of solid oxide the main body of which is composed of laminated cylindrical type cell elements of air electrode 14, electrolyte 15 and fuel electrode 16 is constituted such that collection in the electrode 14 is carried out through an alloy pipe 18 made of conductive material inserted in the cylindrical space inside the electrode 14 and arranged to be brought into contact with the electrode 14 through fins 17. The pipe 18 is made of conducive material, i.e., inconnel or made by coating inconel with lantan strontium cobalt perovskite oxide or the like. |
