PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of mechanical strength, dielectric constant, and thermal coefficient of expansion by constituting an insulation printed circuit board with silicon nitride ceramic containing a specific wt.% of zirconium oxide. CONSTITUTION:The title printed circuit board is formed by silicon nitride Si3N4) ceramic containing 10-20wt.% of zirconium oxide ZrO2. Also, it is formed by silicon nitride Si3N4 ceramic containing 20wt.% or less zirconium ZrO4 and an insulation crystal with a high thermal coefficient of expansion. It is desirable that the insulation crystal should be at least one type selected from magnesium oxide MgO, yttrium Y2O3, alumina Al2O3, and silica SiO2. Also, the title printed circuit board is formed by silicon nitride Si3N4 ceramic containing 5-20wt.% magnesium oxide MgO or it is formed by silicon nitride Si3N4 ceramic containing 20wt.% or less magnesium oxide MgO and an insulation crystal with a higher thermal coefficient of expansion than silicon. |
