PURPOSE:To eliminate a page buffer and fixation irregularity by having the operations of a fixing means and an image transfer means to recording paper become independent, synchronizing the fixing speed of the recording paper after forming images with the fixing speed of the fixing means independently of an image forming speed and setting the image speed of an image forming means corresponding to the reception speed of an image information reception means independently of the speed of the fixing means. CONSTITUTION:A carrier means 17 is provided in a carrier path between the image transfer means 7 and the fixing means 21, a sensor 8 for detecting the passing recording paper 1 is arranged inside the carrier path and the length L of the carrier path is made longer than the length (h) of the carrier direction of the recording paper 1. When the sensor 8 detects the rear end of the recording paper 1 image-transferred at the image transfer means 7, the carrier speed of the carrier means 17 is synchronized with the fixing speed of the fixing means 21 and the image transfer means 7 forms the images by the next image information reception. |
