<p>PURPOSE:To shorten data equalizing processing time and to improve the opera tion efficiency of a system. CONSTITUTION:Prior to data copying, a system B being transitted to a a hot stand-by state finds out a sector number to be copied and requests exclusive processing to a system A (1). The system A receiving the exclusive processing request memorizes the informed sector number as a copying sector number, uses the sector number for checking data-updating processing and returns exclusive processing OK to the system B. At the time of receiving OK, the system B copies the sector concerned (2). Then the system A starts the data equalizing processing of a stop side computer, compares the sector number in copying with the sector number to be updated before the updating, and when both the sector numbers coincide with each other, retries said processing after waiting several 10msec.</p> |
