ACCESS CONTROLLER FOR NONVOLATILE MEMORY

PURPOSE:To average a number of times of rewriting to a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A mapping RAM 14 is located on the address of a non-volatile memory 12 and the mapping of the bank of the nonvolatile memory is written there. The mapping of a bank having a larger number of times of rewriting is changed to that of a bank having a smaller number of times of rewriting by means of a control circuit 20 for mapping RAM RAW and a control circuit 24 for nonvolatile memory RAW and the altered mapping is preserved in the prescribed bank (in which mapping change is prohibited) of the nonvolatile memory 12.
