PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of exchanges of a structural body in view of lowering amount vaporization of expensive liquid helium by forming a current connecting terminal as a gas cooling structure and thereby cooling the current connecting terminal as a whole in such a manner that the cooling gas is released or collected at the outside of an external current connecting terminal. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor device is formed of a coolant 2 for cooling a superconductor 1 or superconducting coil and current connecting terminals 6, 6' for supplying a current to the superconductor or superconducting coil. The current connecting terminals 6, 6' are cooled with vaporized gas 4 of the coolant 2. A coolant gas exit 4' of the current connecting terminal is located at the outside of the fitting position of external current lead wire 5' to collect the coolant gas 4 having cooled the current connecting terminals. The current connecting terminal is of a kind or a multiple contact structure, otherwise it is of a male or female type plug-in structure. Thereby, many current connecting terminals can be fitted to a small area and a heavy current may be applied to many superconductors. |
