<p>PURPOSE:The gas is circulated in the grain storage tank and the oxygen in the gas is removed by a deoxidizer, thus reducing the loss of the disoxidant. CONSTITUTION:A circulation path is made by combining tightly sealable grain storage tank 1, disoxidation chamber 3 consisting of the part taking in water-containing sunstances and the other part containing the deoxidizer and blower 2. Usually, the deoxidizer hardly absorbs oxygen or retards the absorption speed in the presence of water and the gas in the system is circulated to remove the oxygen in the grain storage tank. The deoxidizer is, e.g., one of various kinds of reducing agents as iron, dithionite salts, thiosulfates, hydroquinone, pyrogallol. Thus, the loss of the deoxidizer is prevented and the operations become simple.</p> |
