PURPOSE:To provide a more efficient video image distribution method and its device by accepting requests from subscriber equipments and reducing a request rejecting ratio even when the requests from lots of subscriber equipments are concentrated in the video image distribution system in which video information requested by the subscriber equipments is distributed by a video image distribution center. CONSTITUTION:A request is received (10), a video information name and an allowable wait time TA from the arrival of the request till its distribution as request information is discriminated (11), and whether or not the video information on request is distributed within the time TA is discriminated (12). When it is discriminated that the information is able to be distributed within the time TA, the request is accepted (13) and the video information on request is distributed to the subscriber within the allowable wait time TA (15). However, when the video information on request is not distributed within the TA, the request is rejected (14). |
