PURPOSE:To provide a numerical expression allocation processing method/device which can magnify and reduce a font in the horizontal or vertical direction while keeping the proportion of each part of the font and also can secure the width and the height of the font that are accurately accordant with the value of the numerical expression. CONSTITUTION:The points op1-op10 constituting an external shape of a font m1 are divided into point groups pg1 and pg2 for each part of the font. Then the reference points st1 and st2 are set to the groups pg1 and pg2 respectively. When the font m1 is magnified or reduced, the distances between the points st1 and st2 and a character extension origin are increased or reduced. Then the points pg1 and pg2 corresponding to the points st1 and st2 are arranged with each magnified or reduced reference point defined as an original point. Thus a font is generated and allocated. Then a numerical expression is allocated by a processing means which applies an allocation processing method. |
