PURPOSE:To provide a lead-acid battery having a clad type positive plate filled with active material easily and uniformly. CONSTITUTION:Silver powder mixed with 0.1-10 percentage by weight of acid resistant inorganic powder of 1-200mum in particle size is used as the active material of a clad type positive plate in a lead battery. Thereby, the flowability is remarkably improved so that, such problems, as much time is required for filling because of poor flowability and as plural tubes are difficult to fill wholly and uniformly in the case of the conventional active material, are solved. |
