The invention relates to a baling arrangement for baling packaging waste, for example paper, pasteboard, cardboard, plastic and other such materials, which baling arrangement comprises a frame 1 with a first fixed conveyor belt 2 and a second conveyor belt 3, which conveyor belts are arranged opposite one another so that between them they define a baling area. Connected to the second conveyor belt 3 is a convenient and reliable swivel and locking arrangement 10, which comprises an elongated first arm 11 and an elongated second arm 12. The first arm 11 is articulated to the body 1 of the baling arrangement and the second arm 12 is articulated to the second conveyor belt 3 and the free ends of the arms are articulated to one another, so that the arms 11, 12 are designed to be placed in the locking position by bring them into a position, in which they are essentially parallel to one another, the second conveyor belt 3 being placed against the first conveyor belt 2 for forming a bale. The arms 11, 12 are designed to be released from the locking position by removing the arms from the said parallel position, the second conveyor belt 3 being swivelled away from the first conveyor belt 2, when the finished bale can be removed from the baling arrangement. <IMAGE>
