ELECTRIC DUAL LAYER CAPACITOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an electric dual layer capacitor in specific large capacity and low resistance in no danger of shortcircuit even under high pressure by providing insulating spacers and a separator between a pair of polarizing electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An electrode as a molded body is composed of a phenol resin particle made carbides 2 and polarizing electrodes 3 polarizing active carbon particles formed on one surface of the carbides 2. Next, a separator 5 is interposed between the polarizing electrodes 3 of the electrode 1 turned inward while ethylene acetic acid vinyl copolymer resin layers 4 are interposed between the ends of the phenol resin particle-made carbides 2 so as to be molten-bonded. At this time, fine spheres of zirconia as spheres are scattered on a part of the part 6 opposing to the polarizing electrodes 3. Through these procedures, the space between the polarizing electrodes 3 can be kept constant thereby enabling the title electric dual layer capacitor to be composed by applying high pressure during the cell housing step.
