PURPOSE:To improve the sales business efficiency and the customer service by issuing a stub receipt with respect to specific commodity data out of commodity data printed on a receipt. CONSTITUTION:An issue declaring means declares issue of the stub receipt, and consists of a stub receipt key 20D provided on a keyboard 20. When the issue declaring means is used to declare the issue after or before input of commodity data, the discrimination code is stored in an issue declaration discrimination code storage means 13L correspondingly to registered commodity data. When the receipt is issued after the end of adjustment, a stub receipt generating means (consisting of a CPU 11, a ROM 12, and a printer 22) is operated to form a stub on the receipt, and commodity data which issue declaration discrimination code is stored correspondingly to each other is printed on the receipt. Consequently, the error for commodity exchange or the like is prevented when the stub receipt generated and issued in this manner is used as a conventional number ticket. |
