PURPOSE:To obtain the picture information processing unit in which 1st and 2nd video image of sizes designated on a same screen are displayed without reduction. CONSTITUTION:The processing unit is provided with picture memories 10,11 storing 1st and 2nd video signals as digital signals, a controller 13 setting a desired display range of both the video signals through the designation of a display start and end position in horizontal and vertical directions on the same screen of both the video signals and a selector 12 selecting the video signal from both the picture memories 10,11 with a control signal from the controller 13 and also 1st and 2nd cameras with a variable magnification to introduce respectively the 1st and 2nd video signals.
