PURPOSE:To provide a remote conference equipment with which a user can fast transfer the FAX information to a remote conference terminal equipment of the opposite party without feeling any troublesomeness nor inconvenience and also can transfer the still picture information not so urgent to the remote conference equipment of the opposite party. CONSTITUTION:A remote conference equipment is provided with a communication speed display means which display in real time the communication speed of each medium at a display part 1 of a terminal equipment of the opposite party through a writing pad 9, keyboard 19, etc., a communication speed control means which changes in real time the communication speed of each medium of a multi-medium communication system, a variable/standard value unit changing means which sets the change value of the communication speed of each medium changed by the communication speed control means in a variable mode if the change value is not standard and then changes this change value into a standard value unit if the change value is standard respectively, and a transmission line setting value control means which changes the basic transmission line setting value in real time. |
