<p>PURPOSE:To realize the coder not needing transfer of a reproduction signal via a sharing memory among plural coding processing circuits in a motion compensation inter-frame prediction coder employing parallel processing. CONSTITUTION:The coder is provided with a distribution circuit 2 sequentially distributing sets of consecutive frames of an input dynamic image signal to plural coding circuits as one unit, coding circuits 30, 31, 32, 33 coding the distributed image signal so as to include inframe coding of at least one frame, and a linking circuit 4 linking codes outputted from the plural coding circuits to obtain an output signal. The coding is attained without transfer of a reproduction signal between coding circuits.</p> |
