PURPOSE:To provide the route search device which calculates a route to a destination which is conformed to the change of the traffic condition as much as possible without acquiring traffic information from the outside. CONSTITUTION:The passage time in each road section is measured in accordance with travelling of a vehicle and is recorded in an actually measured passage time storage means 103. When a route to a destination will be selected, the predicted passage time in each road section stored in a map storage means 104 is not directly used, but a route is obtained after the passage time is estimated by the predicted passage time and the actually measured passage time with respect to the road passage where the actually measured passage time is measured before. Therefore, an optimum route based on the past experiences is selected without acquiring traffic information from the outside. |
