PURPOSE:To automatically provide the priming water when a pump is restarted by providing a fuel tank, a liquid reservoir, the pump, and a passage, and providing a valve opened when the pump is stopped and closed when the pump is operated. CONSTITUTION:If a pump 9 is inadvertently kept operating when the fuel in a drum can is vacant, air infiltrates from one end of a passage B, the pump 9 causes gas suction, and a protective device is operated to stop the pump 9 in emergency. A valve 10 is opened by a valve opening command from a control device, and the fuel in a fuel tank 2 is fed to a liquid reservoir 8 side by the gravitational force. The fuel is fed to the pump 9 through a passage B1. The passage B1 is invariably filled with the fuel while the pump 9 is stopped, and the pump 9 is invariably filled with the fuel. When the pump 9 is again operated, it is not necessary to get the priming water manually as in the past, and this method is very convenient. |
