PURPOSE:To attain such recording-reproducing characteristics as high sensitivity, high C/N ratio and high erasure ratio with a laser light source having 680nm wavelength. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording medium is an optical information recording medium having a 1st dielectric layer, a phase change recording layer, a 2nd dielectric layer and a reflecting layer on the substrate in order. The thickness of the recording layer is 200-400Angstrom and that of the 2nd dielectric layer is 1,400-2,400Angstrom . |
