PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device for displaying an image state. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device provided with an original read part 32, an image processing part 67 and a printer part 40 composed of an electrifying means arranged at the outer periphery of a photosensitive body, plural exposure means 43 and 46, plural developing means, transfer means and fixing means, reference pattern image generation means 81 and 82 for forming reference pattern images at the photosensitive body are installed in at least one of the exposure means 43 and 46, an image state arithmetic operation means for calculating the image state based on an output signal when the reference pattern images formed at the photosensitive body by the reference pattern image generation means 81 and 82 are printed on transfer paper by the printer part 40 and read by the original read part 32 is provided, an image state display means for displaying an arithmetic result is provided and the image state is calculated based on the image information of the reference pattern images read by the original read part 32. Thus, the failure part of the images in the present condition is displayed. |
