PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for producing order-made fixtures suitable for every patient to be treated and every medical condition before a real surgical operation. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a means 40 for scanning the part to be treated and generating image data expressing that part to be treated, a means for generating one group of vectors for fixing one group of points. This vector group expresses the part to be treated, the respective points are related with a surface and one part of this surface expresses one part of the section to be treated but one part is hidden and can not be seen. Further, this device is provided with a means 44 for relating the respective points with the extremal points of a collation polygon of non-uniform rational B spline, means 48 for constituting the model of part to be treated corresponding to the non- uniform rational B spline, and means 50 and 52 for constituting a fixture corresponding to the model. |
