PURPOSE:To effectively suppress corrosion phenomenon of a metal material such as a battery can or a current collector by adding the preset quantity of lithium perchlorate in an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A battery case 1 and a sealing plate 2 are formed by punching a stainless steel plate, they serve as a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal respectively, and a negative electrode 3 is kept in contact with the inner wall of the sealing plate 2. A separator 5 is made of polypropylene impregnated with an organic electrolyte, a positive electrode 6 is caulked inward with the opening end section of the case 1, and the inner periphery of the sealing plate 2 is fastened via a gasket 4 for sealing. Lithium hexafluorophosphate is dissolved at the density of 1mol/l in a solvent mixed with ethylene carbonate (EC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), and diethyl carbonate (DEC) at the volume ratio of 2:2:1 for the organic electrolyte, and lithium perchlorate is added to the electrolyte in the density range of 10-1,000ppm for use. |
